Glass-Spine Lizard

Glass-Spine Lizard

Lacerta vitreum
🟦 LOW Prey Eastern Waste
Size: 1.5m long
Weight: 40 kilograms
Diet: Mineralivorous

Morphology & Physiology

A sluggish reptile with dorsal spikes composed of pure, recycled obsidian glass needles instead of bone. Belly covered in highly lubricated leather allowing frictionless sliding across the Glass Serpentines.

Behavior & Hunting

Passive sunbathers. When startled by fast-moving scouts, it violently thrashes its tail, detaching dozens of brittle, razor-sharp glass needles capable of piercing standard leather wraps and crippling paws.
